A new year.

3 of us, my sisters and I, share a wardrobe. Underneath it were 3 large drawers. Each of us has one.

I never knew what my sisters keep in their drawer, the unwritten rules of Sim family says we're not allowed to pry.

A few years ago, Juju threw all her stuff away. All the cards and everything used to be nice were thrown away, making way for her new clothes and watches and everything nice. (i think, don't really know what's inside.)

She told me " Things are different now. These are no value to me."

well, I don't think so, not just yet.

In my drawer, there are letters, cards and gifts I received from friends on special occasions.

And also a little photo album of mine was lost and found.

It's fun digging out all the old stuff. It's like jigsaw-ing a summary of yourself,

revising your entire life together with the dreams you once dreamed.

Every piece has it's own story, holding both the good and the bad memories of mine.

I used to force dad to photocopy my comic book and I would color it~

A little notebook i made especially for Doraemon.

I used to dream that one day, I'll be a great collector of Doraemon. Having all Doraemon's collections from comics to toys!

I'll keep all the stuff when their time has come.

I realized one thing, I achieved almost nothing at all for the past 20 years of my life.

I was the chief organizer of our family's annual BBQ feast!

well...I'm a bad one though... :S

But the bbq went well~~

Juju and Ming (My eldest sister and her husband) are BBQ experts, so they did most of the shopping and preparing.

All i did was marinating the chicken wings and taking photos~ LA LA LA

All the guys were busy setting up the fire and getting the chairs and tables ready.

The girls, as usual, are responsible for the food.

This year, Ah yik is back!

Why do we have the chair?

It was from my I-think-I'm-the-richest-Miri guy-in-Singapore cousin. He said it's not the in-thing anymore so he threw it away~ away to our house~

Our bbq feast started at around 6:30pm

买衣

看到小赖的日记，《再忙，也要陪你逛街》

才恍然大悟，为什么自己不喜欢 Kevi 陪我逛衣店！

女人真的很善变，在逛逛时看到漂亮的衣服，进去了，试了就觉得不漂亮。

衣服放回去了，从另一个角度看， 又觉得很漂亮！

就拿去另一间更衣室去试， 然后说刚刚是灯光问题才觉得不漂亮，

最后就决定买了。

有时候放到柜台后，看到别人也买，就不想要了~ 然后可以很厚脸皮的， 走掉！

我就是知道自己有这毛病，就不会很想和 Kevi 逛衣店。

而且有时衣服不适合你 他或许不会跟你说

因为事实有时是很残酷的~

宝~哪件好看？？

厄。。都好看哦！

所以，要和志同道合的女生们逛衣店才能够买到真正的衣服~

To all the ladies reading,

At some stage, we've all felt at least one of the symptoms above, particularly around that time of the month.

This is known as...you all know it, PMS. (Premenstrual Symptoms)

Ahhhh...poor us.

All the suffering, both physically and mentally, that we have to go through while our uterus are bleeding frantically.

Mood swings is the most common symptom of them all.

8 out of 10 of my girl friends have experienced it during period.

We do get quite bitchy when mood-swing attacks

Believe us... those annoying things that we've done.. are not deliberate!

Most of the time, we don't even know what we are doing.

Our Hypothalamus are completely not in control; We are like robots programmed to be shot-fused and bitchy........ sounds scary huh?

Why do we feel like this?

No one knows what causes PMS but many factors may be involved, including changes in hormone levels within the body in the lead up to our period and changes to chemicals in brains.

Kevin is always the victim, and my dad too.

There's this famous Tofu incident (I don't think I've ever mentioned it in my blog).

Kevin finished all the tofu in my miso soup like a tofu assassin.

I wailed as if those are the last tofu on Earth but smiled again a minute after because i think it's kinda silly crying over such little things~

I got him so confused -__-

Well, as for my dad, i called it the Peanut Butter toast incident.

It's basically a duplicate of the Tofu incident; he ate my peanut butter toast and i cried.

I wonder how he has survived all these years, living with four time bombs under the same roof.

During this time of the month, girls love picking fights and throwing tantrum

I apologise to every man on behalf of the girls.

Forgive us and be supportive is all you have to do :)

But ladies, this is not the ticket to emotionally abuse your love ones.

There are ways to minimise the impact of the symptoms and you have the responsibility to know them.

1. Exercising for 30 mins a day,4 to 6 days a week and have plenty of sleep. Yoga helps too.

2. Eat well, no junk food, no alcohol, no sugar and caffeine.

3. Talk to your family and friends. Or consult a doctor if things get worse.

4. Knock yourself out to avoid quick verbal reactions or responses to emails or texts that could be taken out of context.

I find this very effective but I'm still trying to master it :D.

Parcel full of Hipponess

Finally....! I've received the parcel which Kevin posted to me the day i left Auckland.
I was so excited~ He was too :)

*Mameshiba was overawed by the rather huge parcel*


I texted him and asked " what should i do?!?! " ( haha..lame..open the parcel !)

I didn't open my gift until he called,
as we both wanted to share this excitement together.


On the other side of the phone, he chuckled and said "blur tou" when i screamed, and then giggled for a long while after the gift was unwrapped.

It was like taking 2 tablespoons of strawberry syrup
My heart fluttered.. :')

奇怪的梦

梦见我傍晚时赤脚骑脚车，去到附近的店屋

外面有个小贩，他的motorbike后面有个icebox,装很多很多豆奶！

我记得是用 Borneo 矿泉水瓶装着的，
非常好喝 :)


很奇怪，可是很喜欢这个梦。

Soy Bean :)

Mum brought me to the market 2 days ago, and we bought yellow bean(黄豆。) ! Not sure what it's called in english.

And project of the day is, make Soy bean~!

Been craving for Soy Bean recently :)

the beans need to be soaked for a night, then....not so sure what to do next :D
